Thanksgiving from Ares and Palermo

In Ares, in Palermo, and  in the whole team of our partnership we have been learning about Thanksgiving and how people celebrate it in different places of the World.

Our little ones have made their own turkeys using reciclying products.

Higher levels of primary school have made their turkeys using autumn leaves and their big imagination.

Secundary-school students have explored pointillism to create their own turkeys for the date.

In our schools we have been sharing our works, our videos and learning from each other. Working together is funnier!!

Also they have discovered with Angela Thanksgiving meaning throughout videos, readings and games.

Altogether, we shout from our schools...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!!

THANKSGIVING IN POLAND

On 26th November Thanksgiving is celebrated in the USA. In our school we organized a competition for a homemade turkey, Students were supposed to make a turkey out of paper and send a photo to the teacher. They had to do it at home as we all learn online. Here you can have a look at what they prepared.

Some classes took part in culture lessons - they watched films, played Kahoot and LearningApps.

BONFIRE NIGHT IN ARES AND PALERMO

 REMEMBER, REMEMBER

THE FITH OF NOVEMBER…

On November 5th we have celebrated the Bonfire Night festivity in our school.

We have been learning what happened in London in 1605.

We have seen some videos related to the story of Bonfire Night and we have learnt some traditions related to the topic.

We have read the famous poem "Remember, remember..."

For ending the festivity we have made a Guy Fawkes mask.

It was a very interested and funny day.

HAPPY BONFIRE NIGHT!!
