WORLD BOOK DAY IN POLAND

On 23rd April we celebrate the World Book Day. In our school it was a few days later when the youngest students were allowed to come back to schools.

We watched materials prepared by the Spanish school, learned some facts about Shakespeare and Cervantes, finally coloured Shakespeare's portraits.

Easter Basket Competition in Poland

Although Easter is far behind us, only last week did we resolve the competion organised before Easter. We bought gifts for our Earsmus+ grant and the children will take their awards as soon as they come back to school though some of them were able to come to school and take them:)

WORLD BOOK DAY – APRIL 23rd

WORLD BOOK DAY – APRIL 23rd

Every year this is a very special date for schools, for readers and for all people who love books  around the World.

In our six schools we have prepared some activities in common.

We have made a book and a video telling the story of Cervantes and Shakespeare in a funny way.

CERVANTES AND SHAKESPEARE - PARALLEL LIVES

We also made a video with some important information about the origin of this celebration and the different events that take place in many countries.

     WORLD BOOK DAY

Our students have participated in a Book cover contest.

We have made bookmarks, minibooks, door hangers, Cervantes and Shakespeare portraits, Don Quixote, different pictures, roses in felt…

Our students and teachers have enjoyed a lot and we hope now they love reading books more and more.

We all work together, teachers and students, the school library, the Linguistic Dynamization team and the Erasmus+ Team.

Easter in Ares

Our students from Ares and the other schools participating in our Erasmus+ project have learned many things about Easter through this video.

Then they have made different artistic works, such as Easter Eggs, Easter baskets, Easter bunnies,... They really have enjoyed and learned a lot, and now they use their free time playing to find hidden Easter eggs in the playground.
