A perfect
organisation of time and space!
Here you can see
the summary of this special week!! Enjoy!!
Our plans came true: we were able
to participate in the School Exchange at the Antonio Ugo Comprehensive Institute,
Palermo. An amazing experience for our students.
Our trip started in Ares by
taking a bus to the airport. Since we had to stop in Barcelona we were able to
visit some important places improving our trip to Sicily.
We arrived in Palermo and our
experience started right at the moment when our students met the participants
from the other schools. We stayed in the same hotel, so it was easy to make
contact with them and now there is a very good friendship among them.
We visited the school and
participated in the meeting with the educational community and the Vice Mayor
of the City sent us his welcome. It was a very good welcome.
The students played a musical
performance of music and songs and we were guided by students to the classrooms
and laboratories of their school.
We saw the exhibition of the
works of art of the Project.
We participated in a creative
puppet workshop. It was a very nice experience for our students.
On the other hand we visited the
city center: Teatro Massimo, Teatro Pliteams and local craft shops. We visited
the old town. We went to Montreal, the Castello della Zisa, the Museo
Internazionale delle Marionette “Antonio Pasqualino” (puppet museum) + puppet
show
We walked through Piazza Marina,
Passeggiata delle Cattive, Foro Italico, Cala. visited the Giuseppe Pitré
Ethnographic Museum, and the Santuario di Rosalia
And as Farewell we had dinner for
visiting students and teachers.
It was a week full of new
experiences for our students!!
