THANKSGIVING
Once again this year our students have learned about this holiday.
Although it is an American tradition, the origin of this celebration began with a group of pilgrims who travelled to America.

In our country we have organised culture lessons
we have coloured a lot of turkeys
we have prepared some bookmarks
and the older students have written what they are grateful for
MAGOSTO AT SCHOOL.
For yet another year we continue to remember our traditions. On this occasion we celebrated the magosto, an ancient tradition that began at the beginning of our roots.
Our students had fun with games in which chestnuts were the main element.
Unfortunately, we couldn't taste chestnuts at school because of the covid.
We hope to be able to celebrate again in full next year!
As we cannot celebrate Halloween in our country, we organised a Pimpkin Competition. Students were supposed to draw pumpkins, make carvings or prepare a dish made of pumpkin. One day we asked them to bring their "works of art" and we made a display at school. So have a look at their awesome ideas!
SAMHAIN AND HALLOWEEN
Our students have been learning and working one more year. They know many interesting facts related to this festivity, to its origing and how we celebrate it.
