In the last few weeks of December, we have been making Christmas decorations out of felt. We have learnt how to use a needle and sew. It has been a very interesting activity with lovely results.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Although we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in our country, we often learn about some interesting celebrations and traditions from around the world.
Now we know the origin of this holiday in the United States and other countries. We also enjoyed making a Thanksgiving turkey out of cardboard, using our hands as a template for its feathers.
We used Art to showcase these famous festivities, Halloween and Samhain, which are celebrated around the World.
We learned how to work with lines as a technique for decorating a Halloween drawing.
We also made Halloween bookmarks and cardboard rings shaped like monsters.
This time, our students have created self-portraits by following the steps.
It has been an interesting project, and here you can see the results.
A new school year has just begun. Our fifth-grade students are very excited about Arts class. It is a new year in which they learn Arts using English and Spanish to communicate with each other.
We have started our first lesson by learning how to make our hands using 3D techniques.
And these are the results of our efforts.
