WORLD BOOK DAY 2025
World Book Day, an anual event organized by UNESCO to promote Reading, publishing and copyright.
The first World Book Day was celebrated on 23 April in 1995.
A symbolic date on which we remember two universal writers, Cervantes and Shakespeare, with two parallel lives and many adventures and misadventures in their lives.
Easter changes its date from year to year. This time we celebrate this festivity in April.
For this reason our students remember their knowledge about this topic by watching videos and making some fun Easter cards.
As a fun way to improve our English skills we have participated in a fun and educational activity in which the students have taken an active part. This activity has been developed by Anita Demitroff.
This way, our youngest students took part in an activity related to Animals in Africa.
Students from 1st and 2nd ‘Marco Polo's Silk Road’.
3rd and 4th ‘Exotic Birds’ and 5th and 6th ‘Journey through Europe’.
Before the development of this activity we have been working in class around these topics watching presentations and learning some vocabulary.
