Happy (Romanian) Easter.

Hristos a Înviat (Christ is risen) and the answer for this greeting is „Adevărat a Înviat” meaning  - Is a truth that He has Risen. Those phrases are the traditional greetings in Romania for Easter. People keep doing this 40 days from the Resurrection, until the Rise of Jesus.
The Resurrection is the most important day for Christians around the world so for Romanians too. The majority of the Romanians are orthodox so they are celebrating this year, the Easter, one-week later than the Catholics.

Hristo s a Înviat (Christ is risen)These are red eggs decorated for Easter. The traditional day to do this in Romania is Thursday, before Easter.

Those are some of the eggs traditionally decorated by me for Easter.

This is This in „pasca”, a traditional very delicious cheesecake for Easter.
This is „cozonac”, sweet bread with milk, butter, nuts and Turkish delights. Is traditionally made for Easter and Christmas.
