LEARNING ABOUT SAINT ANDREW FROM ARES

SAINT ANDREW IN ROMANIA

Although it is not possible to travel for the moment, our team cannot stop learning and getting close. it doesn´t matter if it is from home or the luckiest ones from school.

So, this time we were learning about a special festivity in Romania. We know that Saint Andrew is celebrated in many countries, but this year we have focused on Romania, as it is one of the participant countries in our project.

It was very interesting to learn that we have some very similar traditions although we celebrate them in different dates.

So,  we could compare Saint Andrew with Halloween and, of course with our Samaín in Galicia.

We have taken into account the superstitions and traditions beyond the religious part.

To grow wheatgrass is an interesting tradition and we are trying to put it into practice, You can try to do it at home.

Now we feel closer to you!!
