GETTING
TO KNOW EUROPEAN FESTIVITIES AND TRADITIONS
Last week the youngest
of our students got to know the story of this extraordinary person. Guy Fawkes
and his gunpowder plot are remarkable in the English history. Fortunately, the
King and England were saved, but Guy Fawkes was imprisoned and sentenced to
death. Every year British citizens celebrate the victory of monarchy and
remember the 5th of November. To get more information about Guy Fawkes Day you

classes students learnt vocabulary connected with the event, enjoyed word search
competition and sang the song "Remember,Remember...". The lesson was
organized as a part of getting to know the culture of English-speaking
countries.
