THANKSGIVING IN POLAND
Last NovemberThursday – a s a part of learning about European countries' festivities - we talked about American Thanksgiving Day. Students got to know the story of the Pilgrims travelling on the Mayflower ship to the shores of America, their harsh winter and the help recieved from Indians-native Americans. Children had a chance to learn the history but also the vocabulary connected with that special celebration. The youngest prepared a funny craft of the turkey.
